CREA is excited to announce the hiring of Andy Voress as the newest member of its Syndication and Investor Relations team. Voress will be responsible for managing investor relationships and assisting in the development of equity placement strategies with a focus on local and regional CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) investors. He spent the last six years raising and placing equity for a national syndicator. Prior to that, Voress spent ten years at Allstate Insurance and was actively involved in the oversight of their LIHTC investments.
“I am thrilled to join the CREA team at an exciting time in the company’s growth,” said Voress. “I look forward to working with investor clients on high-impact LIHTC opportunities that support their local communities.”
Voress joins the team led by Tony Bertoldi, EVP of Syndication and Investor Relations and will continue to be based in the Chicago area where he lives with his wife and family.
“Andy is a great addition to our team as we hope to expand our platform while also ensuring that we exceed the expectations of our existing investors,” said Bertoldi. “His background and experience are a perfect complement to our group.”
Voress holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and finance from Augustana College and a Master of Science in finance with distinction from DePaul University. He is also a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
