CREA, LLC and CREA Foundation, Inc. Announce Arvetta Jideonwo in Two Leadership Roles

Indianapolis, IN – August 18, 2021 – CREA, LLC and CREA Foundation, Inc. (The Foundation), established in May 2021, named Arvetta Jideonwo as Executive Director and Head of Social Impact. Jideonwo brings a distinguished level of expertise in the philanthropic sector and holds over 20 years of executive-level experience within a variety of leadership roles across the fields of healthcare, human services, as well as K-12 education and higher education on state-wide, regional, and national levels. As the chief philanthropic leader, she will oversee The Foundation’s administration and strategic investments through grant and scholarship initiatives in CREA communities throughout the nation.

Jideonwo most recently served eight years as the Executive Director for Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation (BVOF) – the Type-I supporting foundation for Bosma Enterprises, one of Indiana’s largest non-profit organizations. During her tenure, the foundation’s combined assets grew to $13.4 million. Additionally, Jideonwo established the Business Honor Roll corporate partnership program and the Bosma Visionary Golf Classic. Prior to BVOF, Jideonwo served as the Vice President of Development for Project Lead The Way (PLTW), where she led philanthropic grant-making of over $6 million to schools across the nation to implement curriculum, and also served as Director of Grant Development at Ivy Tech Community College – Central Indiana where she oversaw the management of $40 million in funds from public and private sources.

“I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity and through CREA’s mission, we are doing this everyday by making affordable housing a reality for families nationwide,” said Jideonwo. “I am honored to continue fulfilling this mission through leadership of the CREA Foundation. My goal is to generate avenues through philanthropy to make the communities in which CREA serves better places to live, work and play, while creating opportunities for students living in these communities to attain higher education through financial scholarships, which can be critical steps in breaking the cycle of poverty.”

The Foundation was established to further invest in CREA communities and provide opportunities for students living within them through financial scholarships and avenues to assist their path toward securing internship and mentorship opportunities. In addition to leading The Foundation, Jideonwo will also hold the title of Head of Social Impact for CREA, LLC and will be responsible for all company philanthropy, volunteerism and community engagement efforts.

With years of experience in philanthropy and social impact efforts within the central Indiana community and beyond, CREA is proud to add Jideonwo as an executive team member and leverage her perspective specific to social impact in this newly formed position.

Jideonwo has been widely recognized for experience and expertise on a local and national level in philanthropy, through serving as a Faculty Member for the renowned IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy – The Fund Raising School. Jideonwo holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Indiana State University, a Master’s in Health Administration from Indiana University, and a Non-Profit Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Jideonwo is actively involved in the community through board service for Visually Impaired Preschool Services, membership in the National Council of 100 Black Women Indianapolis and Jack and Jill of America – Circle City Chapter, as well as leading the teacher grants program for the Cathedral High School Mothers Club.
